A day spent for the most part at the RV which this year we are trying to do every few days. We did, however, take a drive on the Quilt Trail in and around Grangeville. Ron and I had done a Quilt Trail in
Kentucky last year and found it a fun way to spend some time in the country. Our direction sheet also included information about each of the owners and the barns where the quilt blocks are located. Always fun trying to find the blocks especially here when you are in the mountains on a windy road. Below are a few of the ones we saw.

Pinwheel Block |

Labyrinth Block - a popular block among quilters |

Bear Paw Block |

50-40 or Fight Block - used as a presidential
campaign slogan for Pres. James Polk in 1844

Variable Star Block used since quilts began
